When editing the source code of an application, you sometimes have to decrease or increase a list of numbers incrementally; for example, when editing a list of numerical variable values. Doing it by hand can take a long time and be quite tedious. While several other text editors for the Mac OS X operating system allow you to edit the source code of applications, Textmate incorporates a tool which automatically increments a selected list of numbers.
